Feet First Mobile Foot Clinic operates in South Bristol and surrounding areas, offering a professional footcare service in the comfort of your own home.

The clinic is owned and run by Ann Lewendon, a qualified, insured, and DBS/CRB checked Foot Health Practitioner.

Ann trained at the renowned SMAE college in Maidenhead and has many years experience working with the elderly, particularly those living with dementia.

The Clinic accepts patients of any age, whether they have a particular foot problem or just need routine foot health advice and maintenance, or toenail cutting. If you are diabetic or have other health conditions you can still be treated, and extra advice will be given to help you care for your feet.

"The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art." -Leonardo Da Vinci

There are 26 bones in the human foot, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. The 52 bones in your feet are about 25% of the total number of bones in your body. It is hardly surprising that sometimes our feet cause us pain, especially when you consider how many hours a day we spend walking, standing, cycling etc, and often cramming them into unsuitable footwear.

It is worth looking after our feet from a young age, so that they will carry us well into old age without too many problems.
